UPSC has postponed dates for submitting post preference for Civil Services Main examination. Candidates who have qualified Civil Services Main examination are required to submit their post-preference to Commission.

  • Dates for submitting same is postponed to 8th January 2019.
  • Candidates can submit their preferences till 21st January 2019.
  • Earlier dates for submitting post-preferences were from 21st December 2018 to 3rd January 2019.
  • Over 1900 candidates have cleared UPSC Civil Services Main examination 2018. Result for UPSC Civil Services Main exam 2018 is released on 20th December 2018.
  • Qualified candidates need to submit their order of preference for participating services, zones & states through official website.
  • Link for submitting preferences will be activated on 8th January. Candidates must check Commission’s official website for same.

Personality Test

  • After qualifying Civil Services Main examination, candidates are required to appear for personality test which will begin from 4th February 2019.
  • Exact date & timing for Personality Test will be mentioned on e-Summon letter. e-Summon letter for Personality Test will be made available from 8th January 2019.
  • Candidates can download same from UPSC’s website.
