IIFT Eligibility Criteria 2022

  • Recognized Bachelor՚s degree of minimum 3 year՚s duration in any discipline with 50 % marks in Graduation (45 % for SC/ST/PWD candidates) .
  • Candidates appearing in the final year examination of Graduation can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by October 2020.
  • There is no age limit for the candidates

Candidate who takes admission in the Program on provisional basis but fails to secure the minimum percentage in the Bachelor՚s degree examination is liable for cancellation. Such candidate should immediately inform the Institute on declaration of his/her results. Candidates who do not inform the Institute of such a situation, their admission will automatically stand cancelled in October 2020. No request for extension of time for re-evaluation, etc. will be entertained.


As per the notification released of previous years, NTA does not put any age registration on candidates applying for IIFT 2021. All age candidates will be allowed to register for IIFT 2021. Hence, there will be no age limit for appearing in IIFT 2021.

Minimum Marks Required

IIFT 2021 will require candidates of general category to have minimum 50 % marks in Bachelor՚s. Whereas, the candidates of SC/SC/PwD category will be given 5 % relaxation and will be able to fill the IIFT 2021 application form with 45 % marks as well.

Qualifying Exam

Candidates before applying should ensure that they have a Bachelor՚s degree of minimum three years with required percentage.

Admission of any candidate who will join the program on provisional basis and will fail to obtain minimum % as per the requirement will be automatically cancelled forthwith. No request for extending time for re-evaluation will be taken into account by National Testing Agency with regard to IIFT.

MBA (International Business)

Recognized Bachelor ′ s degree of minimum 3 years ′ duration.

Aspirants with at least 50 % aggregate marks in the first attempt at graduation level can apply for the exam. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories can apply with 45 % marks.

Candidates appearing in the final year of the graduation course can also apply after submitting the proof of requisite qualification by beginning of October of the year of start of the course.

Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation can also apply for the exam, provided they submit the requisite proof of qualification by 7th October 2019.
