How to Fill JEE Advanced 2016 Application Form

CBSC is going to conduct JEE Advanced 2016 on 22nd May 2016 for those who has cleared JEE Mains 2016 Cutoff. Only 1.5 Lack Candidates are eligible to appear in JEE Advance. And the candidates who have cleared JEE Mains can starts registration from 29th April 2016.

The online application procedure of JEE Advanced includes following steps:

  1. Filling registration form
  2. Uploading Scanned Certificates
  3. Paying Registration Fee

Step 1- JEE Advanced 2016 Registration: 29th April 2016 to May 4th May 2016

  • Enter JEE Main 2016 Roll Number, password and security pin.
  • Choose a new password for JEE Advanced.
  • Keep password safe because it will used for all the JEE Advanced related operations.

Password must be as:

  • Password must be 8 to 13 Characters long.
  • It must be a combination of one upper case alphabet, one lower case alphabet, one numeric value and one special character like! @# $ % ^&⚹-.

In the case of candidates Forgot Password:

  • Use the security question and its answer chosen during filling registration form.
  • The verification code sent via text message (SMS) to registered mobile number.
  • A reset link sent via Email to your registered Email address.

Step 2- Uploading Scanned Certificates:

  • Upload the scanned certificates of Class X or DOB proof, Class XII (or equivalent) examination, Category, PwD, Scribe Request Letter, “OCI” or “PIO” , DS certificate as applicable in JPG⟋JPEG format.
  • Size of the certificate image must be 50 KB and less than 300 KB.

Documents Required-

  1. A colour photograph of full frontal (face) view, with the head centered in the frame covering 70 - 80% of the photograph and taken within the last six months. The photograph should be such that it allows unambiguous identification of the candidate.
  2. Class X certificate if the date of birth is mentioned in it OR birth certificate
  3. Class XII certificate
  4. Scanned copy of candidate՚s full signature
  5. Scanned copy of left-hand thumb impression
  6. If the name is not same as in the Class X certificate, gazette notification showing the change of name
  7. OBC-NCL certificate (form EC2) issued on or after June 1,2015 and conforming to the latest guidelines of the Government of India. For OBC-NCL category
  8. Caste (for SC) or tribe (for ST) certificate (form EC1)
  9. Disability certificate (form EC3) issued by a district medical board⟋competent authority. Dyslexic candidate needs to submit form EC6 instead of form EC3.

Note: According to order of the Supreme Court of India, third gender does not include lesbians, gays and bisexuals. These individuals need to select either “Male” or “Female” as appropriate.

Payment Modes:

1. Payment by SBI Debit Card⟋Internet Banking:

  • The candidate has to click “Pay Registration Fee” , and then the system will automatically send to State Bank Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page.
  • Select any of the available options like Debit Card⟋Credit Card⟋Internet Banking.
  • After successful payment, print the “Registration Form” will available with Unique Registration Number.

2. Payment by CASH using SBI Branch Option:

  • Click on “Pay Registration Fee” , then system will automatically redirect to State Bank Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page.
  • In case of Cash payment select “SBI Branch” and system will generate the challan.
  • Take a printout of the system generated challan and take it to the SBI branch for making cash payment.
  • After payment, visit this webpage again and download the “Registration From” with Unique Registration Number.

3. Payment for DUBAI Exam Centre:

  • For candidates who want to select DUBAI as the examination city are required to pay the registration fee of an amount of US $ 220 through International Debit⟋Credit Card issued by Foreign Banks and issued outside India.

Note: Registration fee for the Third gender. This is identical to that of Male candidates.
