JEE Main 2017 Exam to be Held in April

JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) exam is a two tier examination. First is Main and second is advanced. It՚s regulated by CBSE Board. Those candidates can who get admissions in B. Tech⟋B. Arch programmes offered by NITs and other engineering institutions through JEE Main exam while IITs offer these courses through JEE Advanced exam.

  • To appear JEE Advanced exam require to qualifying JEE Main exam.
  • JEE Main 2017 online application has been extended till 16th January 2017.
  • Candidates who are appearing or passed 12th or equivalent examination can apply for JEE Main 2017.
  • For the admission in IIT՚s, IIIT՚s NIT՚s and CFTI՚s candidates must score at least 75% for SC⟋ST 65% in their qualifying examination 12th Standard.
  • Aadhar Card is mandatory to apply JEE Main 2017.

Application Form

  • Candidates are required to fill the JEE Main Application Form 2017 only through online process.
  • Application form has been available from 1st December 2016 on the official website jeemain. nic. in
  • Last date to fill the application form will be 16th January, 2017.
  • More than one application form filling by candidates will lead to rejection. Candidate can submit only one application form.
  • There is no need to send the printed application form to the CBSE Board.

  • 2 papers in JEE Main examination - Paper I for engineering and Paper II for architecture.
  • Paper I include: Total 90 OMC questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
  • Paper II include: Total 82 questions
    • 30 questions from Mathematics
    • 50 questions from aptitude test
    • 2 questions from drawing test
