JEE Mains 2015 Result Announced


CBSE announced the results for JEE Mains examination yesterday, many students could not access the result then as the server went busy. Students can now check out the results at the following link - JEE Mains 2015 Result by entering the roll number and date of birth.

Cut-off Marks: The cut-off score for eligibility for JEE (Advanced) is 105 out of 360 this year for students in general category, for 2014 the cutoff marks were 115 for general category. The cut-off in OBC category was 70 and for SC and ST it was 50 and 44 respectively.

Only top 1.5 lakh candidates will be eligible to appear for the JEE (Advanced) to get into IITs. Around 13 lakh students appeared for the test in 2015 examination.

Last year, 9,784 seats across IITs were available for admissions, for 2015 the number of seats are expected to go up marginally. The exact number of seats are yet not announced.
