NBHM Eligibility Criteria 2020

  • A B.A. (Hons.)/B.Sc.(Hons.) degree in mathematics with at least 55% marks or Applicants must have passed B.A. /B.Sc. degree in mathematics with first division.

  • Students who are in the last year of the B.A./B.Sc. program to complete the course in the month of July 2020-21 with a first class are also eligible.

  • The eligibility is restricted to students who have completed their B.S./M.A/M.Sc (or equivalent) degree and have secured admission to a recognized Ph.D. program on or before 01st August 2020.

  • Students holding a B.Sc/B. Stat/B.S./B.Tech/B.E degree, or those in the final year of such degree courses, with a consistently good academic record from Plus Two level as mentioned above, may also apply.

  • Students holding a four-year B.S. (or equivalent) degree, or those in the final year of such a program, may also apply, but they are eligible to receive the NBHM scholarship only if they secure admission to a recognized Ph.D. program by August 2020.

  • Students with a good academic record who have already completed, or expect to complete by July, one year of a recognize M. Sc. . program in mathematics.

  • Students who have completed, or expect to complete by July, three or four years of a five-year integrated M. Sc. Program in mathematics with cumulative marks/grade equivalent to a first class.

  • Any gender can apply this, for all India Region it is applicable And there are classes like B.A/B.Sc./M.A./M.Sc. (Mathematics)

  • The Cumulative marks in the undergraduate degree pre-requisite to the masters program is 60% or more.

  • The cumulative marks need only be 50% or more.
