UPSC NDA exam is conducted to recruit candidates in Army, Navy & Air Force. This exam is conducted 2 times in a year, i.e.. NDA I & NDA II.
It is a 2 tier examination, after qualifying written test candidates will have to clear SSB interview round.
Candidate should have passed class 12.
UPSC will provide application withdraw facility from 8th -14th Feb. , 2019.
Selection of candidates will be done through written examination & SSB interview.
For which admit card will be released 03 weeks before examination.

UPSC has provided NDA 2019 application form through online mode.
Application form has been released from 9th January (for NDA I) .
Candidates have to provide their general details in Part I.
In Part II, candidates have to select their exam, pay application fee & upload scanned images of photograph & signature.
Images should be in JPG format with photograph (3KB - 40KB) & signature (1KB - 40KB) size.
No correction facility provided after final submission of UPSC NDA application form.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay application fee through debit⟋credit card & SBI net banking.
Fee payment can be done through challan of SBI bank.
Application fee is ₹ 100⟋-.
SC⟋ST candidates, Sons of JCOs, NCOs & Ors are exempted from payment of application fee.

Nationality:
India national
Subject of Bhutan
Subject of Nepal
Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st Jan 1962
Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka & East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire & Ethiopia or Vietnam.
Age Limits: Candidates age should fall between 18 to 24 years
Sex: Only male candidates are allowed to apply.
Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates.
Education Qualification:
For Army Wing of National Defence Academy eligibility criteria - Class 12 pass of 10 + 2 pattern.
For Air Force & Naval Wings of National Defence Academy⟋10 + 2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy eligibility criteria - Class 12 pass (PCM)
Physical Standards:
UPSC prescribes physical & mental fitness. Candidates should be mentally & physically fit for NDA⟋NA.
NDA Exam Pattern 2019
Type of Questions: There will be objective type questions asked in exam.
Pattern: Question paper will be asked in OMR pattern.
Mode: Exam will be conducted in pen & paper based mode.
Answering Mode: Candidates will use black ball pen to mark their answers.
Duration: 2 & half hours will be given for each code, i.e.. Code 1 (mathematics) & Code 2 (general ability test) .
Language: Medium of exam will be set bilingually in English & Hindi.
Negative Marking: 0.33% marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
