UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) will conduct National Defence Academy (NDA) I 2017 on 23rd April 2017. It is an all India level national entrance examination for recruitment of the Indian Defence Forces including Indian Navy, Indian Army and Indian Air Force after 12th class.

Every year NDA examination is hosted twice in April and September.

 Examination Fees for NDA & NA (I) 2017

  • Candidates from the General and OBC category have to pay Rs. 1oo/-
  • No Fees for candidates from SC/ST/PwD and wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are category

Note: Fees will be paid by cash in any SBI bank branch or through net banking.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA & NA (I) 2017

  • Candidate must be citizen of India, Bhutan or Nepal
  • Only unmarried male candidates can apply for NDA.
  • Candidate must have born after 2nd July 1998 and not after 1st July 2001.

Educational Qualification

For Indian Army wing:

  • The interested candidates must qualified 12th class from a recognized board/university or candidates pursuing in 12th or equivalent examination can also apply.

For Air force and Indian Navy:

  • The candidates must have qualified or pursuing class 12thwith Mathematics and physics from a recognized board or university.

Physical Standards:

  • Candidate must be physically fit. Candidate must fulfill all the physical standards norms.
