To recruit candidates in the Army, Navy and Air Force, UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) conducts a national level entrance test called UPSC NDA/NA examination. Candidates have to first qualify the written test with the minimum qualifying marks and then appear for the SSB Interview round to get entry into NDA.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • A candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
  • Other nationality factors also included.
  • Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA.
  • Candidates must undertake not to marry until they finish their complete training.
  • Candidates must have born between 2nd July 2001 - 1st July 2004, for NDA I.
  • Candidates should have born between 2nd January 2002 - 1st January 2005, for NDA II.

Application Fee:

  • The application fee will be Rs. 100/-.
  • Candidates will have to pay the application fee through debit/credit card and SBI net banking or through challan of SBI bank.
  • SC/ST candidates, Sons of JCOs, NCOs & OR’s are exempted from the payment of application fee.

Selection Process:

  • Candidates shortlisted on the basis of written exam will be invited for SSB interview.
  • SSB will be conducted for four to five days.
  • Candidates who successfully qualified SSB round will further be called for medical test and document verification process.
