NEET PG 2017 Exam to Be Held on December 16 at Chennai [ NEET PG Updates ]


National Board of Examinations (NBE) has rescheduled NEET PG 2017 at Chennai. Exam has been rescheduled to December 16, 2016. Because of inclement weather, the National Board of Examination had postponed the NEET PG 2017 in six Chennai test centres.

Key details:

  • The scheduled was to be held on December 13. The Board will now conduct the exam on December 16 at morning session.
  • Board has announced that the candidates can download the admit cards from December 14 post 1 pm and the hall ticket will include the venue details.
  • Exams were postponed on Monday. Though, it is only the afternoon session that was postponed.
  • Morning session was conducted as per the schedule.
  • Chennai candidates appearing for the exam on rescheduled date they have to re-download their admit cards by login to their respective profile.
  • NEET PG is the single entrance examination conducted by NBE. This exam will be conducted for admissions to various MD/MS and PG diploma programmes.
  • NEET PG has replaced the All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) and DNB CET from this year onwards.

  • Prometric Testing Private Limited, Kodambakkam
  • EduSurge, Ambattur
  • Chennai Institute of Technology, Kundrathur

Key notes:

  • Candidates will have to carry their respective admit card for the December 16 exam as it would remain valid on December 13.

Paper pattern:

  • Paper will consist of 300 multiple choices, single correct response questions in English language only.
  • Examination shall be a multiple choice questions exam delivered on computer based platform (CBT).
  • Total duration of the examination would be 3 hours, 30 minutes.
  • There shall be no negative marking.
