AIPMT Replaces NEET starting 2014
Currently, The All India Pre-Medical Test i.e.. AIPMT is being organised by CBSE for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in a huge number of medical and dental colleges all over the country. An entrance test is there, for the 15% merit positions in the Medical or Dental Colleges of India as mentioned in the directive of the Supreme Court and will be ultimately governed by the rules quoted for the same by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
Pattern of the Entrance Test
The Entrance Test will comprises of one paper with 180 objective type questions also called multiple choice questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology like Botany & Zoology to be answered on the specifically well designed machine-gradable sheet with the use of a Ball Point Pen only. The time duration of test will be 3 hours.
Language of the Question Papers
The Candidates can choose the Question Paper either in the language English or Hindi.

Counselling for the deserving candidates under 15% All India Quota seats will be organised by DGHS and the Counselling for admission in seats under the control of other participating States, Universities or Institutions shall be organised by the desired Authorities.
