NEET-2017: How to Fill Application Form

National Eligibility Entrance Test is an entrance examination in India. NEET exam will be conducted for the students who want to study in MBBS, BDS or postgraduate course (MD/MS) in government or private medical colleges in India. It will be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nationality: Indian or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India).

  • Age limit:

    • Minimum: 17 years

    • Maximum: 25 Years for General categories, 30 years for reserve categories

  • Attempts: 3 times until cross the maximum age limit

  • Education Qualification: Pass 12th Or equivalent examination from recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology or any other elective subject with English.

  • % criteria:

  • Minimum 50% marks in PCB group for general candidates

  • 45% (for general PH) and 40% (for SC/ST/OBC categories)

Step1: Go to the Official site of NEET

Step 2: Scroll down to menu title “Online Service” and click on “Apply online”.

Step 3: Read the instruction Carefully and click on “Proceed to apply online”.

Step 4: Fill the application form and note down the register number.

  • Quota:

  • Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Jammu and Kashmir applicants are required to submit online Self-Declaration for seats under 15 % All India Quota.

  • Applicants of the entire reserved category should keep ready their verified documents that would prove the same.

Step 5: Upload photo and signature.

Step 6: Make Payment of fee by Prescribed modes.

Step 7: Print conformation page after Successful payment of fee.


  • You have completely filled out all the details; you may click “Submit” and pay the fees.

  • Any online transaction password generated on the NEET website while registering/submitting the form will be valid for 15 minutes only remember.
