CBSE UGC NET 2017 Exam Online Registration Starts from 1 Aug (Download PDF)

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the official notification for CBSE UGC NET 2017. Online registration for CBSE UGC NET 2017 will be started from August 1 and end on August 30, 2017.

Important Dates:

• This is the eligibility test for the post of assistant professor in Indian colleges/Universities.
• Also qualifying test for the award of Junior Research Fellowship.
• Exam date of CBSE UGC NET 2017 is November 19, Sunday at all the examination centres.
• Candidates who are looking for the lectureship in the well-known universities, they require to qualify the UGC NET to become eligible for applying.
• On behalf of UGC, the CBSE will hold National Eligibility Test (NET) on November 19.
• Universities, institutions, IITs and other national organisations may select the JRF awardees for whole time research work in accordance with the procedure prescribed by them.
• CBSE will conduct NET in 100 subjects at 90 selected NET Examination Cities spread across the country.

Qualifying Criteria:

• Selection of the candidates will be entirely based on their performance in 3 papers of CBSE UGC NET 2017.
• Qualifying criteria for UGC-NET Exam involved qualifying top 15 % of those candidates in each subject and category, who obtained the minimum required marks in paper-I, II and III according to the category of the candidates.

Application Fees:

• For General category students: Rs. 600/-
• For OBC category students: Rs. 300/-
• For SC/ST/PWD category students: Rs. 150/-
