National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national level exam and it is conducted by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) for awarding scholarships. NCERT is conducting NTSE 2017 in two stages, wherein the stage 1 exam held on 2016, November 5, 6 and 13 and stage 2 examinations on May 14, 2017. Recently, the stage-1 exam results declared.

  • Candidate can check their final score by entering their roll number and date of birth.
  • NTSE Stage 1 result having Score of candidates in each subject.
  • Those candidates, who qualifying Stage-I examination will be eligible for appearing in the Stage-II examination to be conducted by NCERT and stage 2 exam held on 8 May 2017.
  • NTSE Stage 2 (National Level) examination is conducted at National Level.

NTSE 2017 Selection Process

NTSE 2017 is a two-stage procedure which will be conducted by NCERT. Both the stages are described below:

  • NTSE Stage-I: The first stage of NTSE 2017 is being conducted by States/UTs in a three-day window of November 5, 6 and 13, 2016. Any candidate studying in Class X can register themselves to appear in this stage.
  • NTSE Stage-II: The NTSE Stage-I exam 2017 qualifying candidates in the country will be allowed to appear for May 14, 2017 stage 2 exam of NTSE.

Eligibility Criteria

  • All the students of X standard are eligible to appear in this scholarship program.
  • Government and private schools both students are eligible to register for the scholarship program.
  • Student applying for the scholarship scheme can be from any state of India.

Cut off details:

  • General: 40%
  • ST/PH/SC: 35%

The above percentage should be scored in each subject.
