- Chandragupta-I 15 years – Maharajadhiraja
- Throne of Magadha and ruled Pataliputra (in dowry after marriage with Lichchhavi tribe of Vaishali princess Kumara Devi)
- Chandragupta-II – also called Vikramaditya
- Gave daughter to Vakatakas of Deccan and helped to fight Sakar ruler (So-called Sakari) – control over seaport and trade with west - moved capital to Ujjain
- 9 gems in his court included Kalidas. He was follower of Lord Vishnu
