Former minister of rural development & panchayati raj and Congress MLA Francis Ngajokpa resigned from the Manipur assembly polls. Francis submitted his resignation to Manipur PCC president T. N. Haokip.

  • His supporters warned that they would not vote for any Congress candidate in the 49 (ST) Tadubi Assembly constituency in the forthcoming state Assembly election.
