Mahindra Education Trust, a social initiative wing of the Mahindra group of companies, one of the most famous corporate houses of India. The K. C. Mahindra Education Trust was established by the late Mr. K C Mahindra in 1953, and registered as a Public Charitable Trust under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950 with the aim of changing lives of the people in India through education, by providing financial assistance and recognition to them, across age groups and income strata. Till now, K. C. Mahindra Education Trust has provided more than ₹ 13.80 crores in the form of grants, scholarships and loans to deserving students, thus promoting the education in India.

Mahindra All India Talent Scholarships For Diploma Courses in Polytechnics is given by K. C. Mahindra Education Trust, Mumbai to students who have passed Std. X or Std. XII and have secured admissions in Government or recognized polytechnics for diploma courses. Preferences are given to girl students, children from lower income group families, disabled children and children of armed forces personnel. Selected students are awarded scholarships of ₹ 5,000 per year for a maximum period of 3 academic years to enable them to continue diploma courses for which they have secured admissions.
Eligibility Criteria

XII from any recognized board of Secondary/Higher Secondary in India and must have secured admissions in Government or recognized polytechnics for diploma courses.
Application

Students wishing to apply for the scholarships may get the application form by sending in a self-addressed envelope with ₹ 6/-stamps affixed on it to any of the Mahindra offices in Chennai, Kochi or Hyderabad before the decided date. The official application form is then mailed to the student, which should be duly filled in and returned along with the desired enclosures to the office. If selected, the candidates are required to appear for an interview at a center chosen by him/her at the time of application. The interview dates are intimated to the selected applicants well in advance. The cost of travel to a certain extent is also paid to them by the organization.
