MH SET complete exam pattern given below.

  • MH SET exam pattern is such that there are three different papers (Paper I, II, and III) conducted in three sessions on the same day.
  • While paper I is general, questions in Paper II and Paper III are based on the subject a candidates chooses.
  • Candidates needs to appear for all the three papers to be eligible for the award of assistant professor.

Questions in all three papers are objectives – type.

Each correct answer is awarded two marks in the exam. There is no negative marking in the exam.

Paper I

It is assessed of teaching and research aptitude of the candidate.

It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, Comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.

The candidates have to give the 50 answers out of 60 multiple choice questions.

If a candidate will attempt more than 50, they will be evaluating.

Paper II

The candidates have to attempt 50 multiple choice questions, which is mandatory.

The questions will be select on the basis of a subject, which is selected by the candidates and each question will carry two marks.

Paper III

It consists of the 75 objective type mandatory questions based on the selected subject by the candidate.

Each question will carry two marks.

All papers are compulsory for the candidates, which is covering the total syllabus.
