Components of E-PG Pathshala

  • e-Adhyayan is a platform to provide 700 + e-Books for the Post-Graduate Courses. All the e-Books are derived from e-PG Pathshala courses. It also facilitates play-list of video content.
  • UGC-MOOCs is one of vertical to produce course on Post Graduate subjects in SWAYAM (Online Courses, An MHRD initiatives) . UGC is one of the national coordinator of SWAYAM & INFLIBNET is technical partner for UGC-MOOCs.
  • SWAYAM is an instrument for self-actualization providing opportunities for a life-long learning. Here learner can choose from hundreds of courses.
  • e-Pathya is one the verticals of e-PG Pathshala which is software driven course ⟋ content package that facilitates students pursuing higher education (PG level) in distance learning as well as campus learning mode. it also facilitate offline access.

NMEICT

National Mission on Education through Information and Communication and Technology (NMEICT) is an ambitious project undertaken by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) , Government of India with a view to seamlessly providing quality educational content to all the eligible and willing learners in India. It has envisaged content and connectivity as the twin pedals for initiating and accelerating ICT-enabled Higher Education.

T10kT

  • The T10kT project (supported by National Mission on Education through ICT) at IIT Bombay, permits thousands of teachers to benefit from each of these programs. Use of online and blended approach allows participants to complete a significant part of training online, thus reducing the time which must be spent on face-to face synchronous interaction.
  • A Teaching learning Centre (TLC) has been setup at IIT Bombay under Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching. Our Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) , approved by AICTE are now conducted under the aegis of this scheme.
  • The ‘Train 1000 Teachers’ programme was initiated by IIT Bombay in 2009, under the project ‘Empowerment of Students⟋Teachers,’ sponsored by the National Mission on Education through ICT (MHRD, Government of India) . The main focus of this programme is to work with Engineering Colleges in the country to enhance the teaching skills of faculty in core Engineering and Science subjects
  • In 2013, this programme was scaled further, to train up to 10,000 teachers at a time, using 385 established Remote Centres across India
  • The ‘Train 10,000 Teachers’ (T10kT) uses the AVIEW framework developed by Amrita University.
