The Right to Information Act is an effective weapon for the common man whose bureaucracy does not have any identity or interference directly. This will curb exploitation and arbitrary behavior and corruption can be controlled. This will include factors like public participation, evaluation, feedback and improvement suggestions in administration and governance. This leads to increased logic and adherence to governance decisions, public administration also recognizes public sentiments and trends and increases administrative quality and credibility. Awareness of sensitive and responsive administration is developed. Anyway, there is the natural power of instruction, knowledge, talent, and freedom to free oneself in information.

According to Justice P.B. Sawant, former president of the Indian Press Council, if this authority is not enacted as well as other organizations such as mass media, non-governmental organizations and Lokpal and Lokayukta, then this right will prove futile.
