Established in 1967, Maitreyi College was named after the famous Vedic sage Maitreyi.

It is an all women's college located in Bapu Dham, Chanakyapuri which is the southern part of the city of Delhi.

The college offers a number of undergraduate courses in fields ranging from Science, Computers, Arts and History. The college is run under the effective guidance and leadership of its Principal, Dr. Ms. Savita M. Dutta.

Admission Procedure at Maitreyi College

Admission to Maitreyi College is subjected to the following rules:

  • The common pre-admission forms will be made available by the Delhi University from 2nd June 2008.

  • The completed application forms are to be submitted back by 16th June 2008.

  • The first admission list of selected candidates will be put up by college on 2nd July 2008 at 10.00 a. m.

  • The second list of selected candidates will be put up by the college on 14th July, 2008.

  • The third list of selected candidates will be put up on 25th July, 2008.

  • Delhi University has fixed a couple of admission information centers in various parts of the city to provide information for all undergraduate degree programs.
